The new JCB 8014 CTS mini excavator will make its Executive Hire Show debut alongside JCB’s extensive range of purpose built compact equipment for the rental sector.

Building on the success of the 8018 CTS which made its Executive Hire Show debut last year, the new 8014 CTS is a conventional tailswing model which has been added to JCB’s compact line-up - along with the 8016 and 8020 models - to complete the JCB offering in the 1.5 tonne sector. Each features more than 30 improvements providing reduced cost of ownership and greater productivity, safety and comfort. These include a 52% increase in load holding capacity and an 11% increase in dig depth. The model on the stand will be shown with a canopy.

JCB will also show a model from its 17-strong line-up of skid steer loaders and compact tracked loaders which includes both radial and vertical lift variants. They offer 16% better fuel efficiency than competitors and 60% greater visibility.

These models will join an extensive range of JCB equipment on the stand - all designed specifically for the rental market. Models include the HTD5 tracked Dumpster, JCB 8008 micro and 8018 CTS mini excavator. The JCB Vibromax VMT160-80 tandem vibratory roller, SD580 roller and JCB’s class-leading forward compaction plates will also be shown along with popular site equipment for the hire sector such as lighting towers, generators, attachments and handheld tools.

JCB launched new 8014, 8016 and 8020 CTS mini excavators at bauma 2013, building on the success of the 8018 CTS unveiled at Intermat in 2012.
