Yet again a premiere – at the end of last year the new SENNEBOGEN sales and service partner for India, Forsenia Engineering Pvt. Ltd., handed over the first SENNEBOGEN 880 EQ from the new D Series to the Krishnapatnam Port Company Ltd.

This seaport is one of the largest and most important ports in India and is first choice for the international transport of goods to South or Central India. The SENNE BOGEN 880 EQ has been invested in to provide a major expansion of bulk material handling capacity. Equipped with a 33 m boom length, various attachments and a crawler chassis, the SENNEBOGEN 880 EQ is an extremely flexible and economic solution in the field of mobile port handling machines – EQ stands for „equilibrium“, and that means the 880 saves over 30 % in energy costs!

The modular construction of the machines means that even this 880 EQ, with an operating weight of 260 tons, was ideally equipped for port and ship size conditions. The 7 m pylon with a PORTCAB protruding 6 m forwards, for example, gives a unique view into the ship to be unloaded and a working environment that offers maximum effectiveness and safety.
