LiuGong North America has introduced the 388B CTL, the company’s first compact track loader.

The machine is specifically built for the North American market. As well, with an operating weight of 5,190 kg, the 388B is one of the market’s largest compact track loaders for those who need highest productivity or hydraulic capabilities.

LiuGong North America also equipped the CTL with a 0.59 cubic metre bucket, making the 388B an efficient scoop for loading, unloading or relocating material.

The 388B has a dump clearance height of 2.5 metres at full height discharge and a maximum hinge pin height of 3.2 metres, with an operating capacity of 1,496 kg. At 50 per cent tipping load, the 388B has a rated load of 2,138 kg.

An industry-standard quick coupler design enables the 388B to receive the same wide array of attachments that skid steers in the same class size utilize – from pallet forks, brooms and blades to snow plows, pushers, blowers and more.

The 388B is powered by a 94 hp, Tier 4 Final, 854F Perkins engine. Furthermore, third-valve auxiliary hydraulics are standard on the 388B compact track loader, as is an electrical connection, conveniently located in the hook-up array.

The 388B delivers hydraulic flow of 96.5 litres per minute or 136 litres per minute operating on the high flow option.

The 388B’s undercarriage delivers a ground pressure of 4.2 psi with a track width of 45 cm and a ground clearance of 32 cm. As well, the CTL is capable of travelling 13.6 km per hour.

LiuGong North America is located in Katy, Texas, and is a subsidiary of Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co. LTD headquartered in Liuzhou, China.
