Mustang has announced two new RT Series compact track loaders, models 1750RT and 2100RT, which feature the HydraTrac Automatic Track Tensioning System. The new track-adjusting system, says Mustang, eliminates the need to manually tension the tracks before operation, saving time and resulting in longer track and bearing life, because the system properly establishes tension immediately upon machine start-up. The system maintains exact tension as the machine works, and then releases tension when the machine is shut down. The new loaders use Yanmar Tier 3 diesel engines, and feature as standard the “5x5” Drive Control System, which provides five settings that change five parameters to suit operator preference and application requirements.
