Weighing in at 10,610 pounds, Case’s newest large-frame compact track loader is also the company’s largest to date, promising plenty of power for residential, site prep or forestry work.

Powered by a 90-horsepower, Tier 4 Final engine, the vertical-lift TV450 provides 4,500 pounds of operating capacity at 50 percent tipping load. The loader also boasts 9,188 pounds of bucket breakout force and 7,773 pounds of lift cylinder breakout force.

High-flow and enhanced high-flow hydraulics are available options, delivering 3,450 psi at 39.5 gpm and 4,000 psi at 35 gpm, respectively, for powering high-power attachments like mulching heads, stump grinders and cold planers.

Mechanical, H-Pattern controls are standard on the TV450 but electro-hydraulic (E/H) controls are an available option with H and ISO pattern interchangeability, Case says. The company says its E/H controls provide adjustable speed and control sensitivity settings that allow the operator to tailor control to the needs of each application and attachment. Switching between H and ISO patterns is done via a simple rocker switch.

Mechanical hand and foot controls are also available as are one-way self-leveling and ride control, which provide a smoother ride and greater material retention.

Inside the cab, operators will find what Case says is one of the widest cabs in the industry with one of the lowest entry thresholds for a comfortable operation and easy entry and exit. The cab-forward design of the machine allows for high visibility to the front of the machine and 360-degree visibility of the surrounding job site, Case says, with sight lines down to the bucket edge. A new cab rearview mirror comes standard.

Heavy-duty front and side lights, front cylinder guards, a heavy-duty rear door, remote oil and fuel filters and debris ingression sealing, which keeps debris from entering the engine compartment, are all standard features on the TV450.

All routine service points are accessible through a single point at the rear of the machine, simplifying maintenance. The Selective Catalytic Reduction system employed by Case to meet Tier 4 Final engine requirements only requires diesel exhaust fluid.

Access to the drivetrain compartment is gained through Case’s easy-tilt cab design.
