As one of the originators of the compact track loader, the brand was bought up by Terex in March of 2008, but now through a divestiture of sorts, ASV is once again manufacturing compact track loaders with yellow, green and black branding. ASV currently has five new compact track loaders in production at its Grand Rapids, Minn., manufacturing facility. These new machines are the first to be offered in the relaunch of the ASV Posi-Track line of compact track loaders.

The first five models to be relaunched under the ASV brand include the RT-30, RT-60, RT-75, RT-110 and RT-100 Forestry — small, medium and large compact track loaders. The RT-30 is the smallest ride-on sub-compact track loader available today. With an operating weight of 3,600 lbs, the RT-30 is only 48 in. wide so it can easily maneuver where large machines cannot. Equipped with a smooth-running and reliable Perkins three-cylinder 32.7-hp diesel engine and producing a mere 3 psi ground pressure, the RT-30 is ready for productive work even on the most fragile surfaces such as landscaping, golf courses and more.
