Тяжелые двухосные грузовики Mandator также обновились в ходе оптимизации модельных рядов AEC и Leyland. Как и другие модели AEC, Mandator получил кабину Leyland Ergomatic. В основном модель Mandator выпускалась в версии седельный тягач для перевозки различных грузов. Кроме 6-цилиндровых двигателей, модель Mandator оснащалась могучим V8 (модель VTG4R, модель двигателя V800) мощностью 225 л.с. Часть грузовиков оснащалась кабинами с высокой крышей.
