весьма интересно обозначение у Ford в этом году, причём оба - правильны:

'64 Ford Thunderbird (model Z) 2-dr. Convertible 4p. (кузов 85) - произведено 9 198 шт. - это по обозначению на VIN номере, это и присутствует здесь на фото VIN - 4Y85Z181210 https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/as19/auburn-spring/lots/r0236-1964-ford-thunderbird/778425 на нижней строчке

где 3-4-й знак - '85' - тип кузова , а 5-й знак 'Z' - модель.

Также есть отдельное обозначение кузова от Ford на отделеной табличке, и там:
