в '57 VIN номер начинался с маркировки двигателя, по нему и модель значилась, так вот у Thunderbird были модели:

С7 - мотор Thunderbird V8 292cid 212 л.с.

D7- мотор Thunderbird Special V8 312cid 245 л.с.

E7 - мотор Thunderbird Special V8 312cid 270 л.с. a c Racing Kit - 285 л.с.

а колесики опять таки а'ля '62

кузов 2-dr. Convertible 2p. (#40 по VIN) 21 380 шт.
