Ford präsentiert auf dem Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, der dieses Jahr vom 30. August bis 7. September stattfindet, gleich drei Weltpremieren (Halle 16), darunter auch das neue, gewichtsoptimierte Transit Tiefrahmen-Fahrgestell. Es wurde als Chassis speziell für Reisemobilhersteller entwickelt.
