Весной 2013 г. начались поставки прототипов второй фазы испытаний (EMD). К этому моменту осталось всего три компании, которые претендовали на контракт с армией США - Lockheed Martin, AM General и Oshkosh. По итогам оценок экспертов, 25 августа 2015 г. победителем программы JLTV стала модель L-ATV корпорации Oshkosh.
