Karsan Jest Electric EU-spec '11.2018–21

В конце января 2019 года Jest Electic начал экспортироваться из Турции в Европу. В течение 2019-21 годов автобусы Jest Electic были изготовлены и доставлены во Францию, Германию, Грецию, Италию, Литву, Испанию, Португалию, Румынию, Словакию и Хорватию. Также несколько автобусов этой модели в 2019 году были отправлены в Мексику.

Karsan came together with customers, distributors and press members from Europe and Turkey at the “Positive Energy Experience” event in Maisach, Germany, which was organized in coorporation with BMW and held on November 6th and 7th. Karsan exhibited new 44 and 88 kWh battery pack versions of Jest Electric at the event. Besides the Jest Electric also the new Karsan Atak Electric was presented with i3 and i8 models of BMW.

The electric motor produced by BMW, which operates in Jest Electric, cooperates with a single-speed transmission and produces a power of 125 kW and 290 Nm of torque. Jest Electric, which can be equipped with 33, 44, 66 and 88 kWh batteries developed by BMW offers ranges of up to 210 km and it can be charged in 6 hours with traditional AC chargers and in just 0,7 hours with fast charging stations. In addition, the batteries can charge themselves up to 25%, thanks to the regenerative braking system that provides energy recovery.

Karsan Jest Electric, which is equipped with 10,1-inch multimedia screen, digital display panel, keyless go, USB output and Wi-Fi compatible infrastructure offers a comfort similar to a passenger car with its independent suspension system on four wheels.
