Ropa Panther with MTU Series 1300

The self-propelled Ropa Panther sugar-beet harvester is powered by a 6-cylinder Series 1300 inline engine from MTU. Exhaust gas recirculation and SCR technology mean that the engine qualifies the two-axle vehicles for operation under EU-Stage lV and EPA Tier 4 final regimes. Among other features, the 390 kW Panther with 2450 Nm of torque offers automatic wheel load and slope compensation with roll stabilization, an extra-long discharge belt and an enhanced daily beet harvesting performance designed to ensure minimum soil damage.
