First appearing at Bauma last year and officially launched at Conexpo-Con-Agg in Las Vegas earlier this year, the all-new Cat 319 CR is the latest machine to fill a gap in the manufacturers Next-Generation range of hydraulic excavators.

Slotting in between the 15-tonne class Caterpillar 315 CR and the 25-tonne class 325 CR, the new 19-tonne machine shares many components of the 17- 20-tonne class conventional tailswing machines, and is essentially a 317 married to a much longer and wider undercarriage, enabling it to offer stronger lifting capacity and greater stability on increasingly tight jobsites.

Power comes from a Cat C3.6 EU Stage V emissions compliant diesel engine offering a power output rating of 93kW (133hp).
