UK crane rental company Forsyth of Denny has taken delivery of two Liebherr All Terrain cranes - a 70 tonne LTM 1070-4.2 and a 110 tonne LTM 1110-5.1 - with a further four Liebherr cranes set to follow in the coming months.

The LTM 1110-5.1 is the first to arrive in Scotland and features a six section 60 metre main boom plus a 10.8 to 19 metre lattice bi-fold swingaway extension. Features include a Stage V engine and Liebherr’s VarioBase Plus technology, which combines the VarioBase system with wider rear outriggers for increased capacities. It can also carry all 29 tonnes of counterweight within 16 tonne axle loads.

The remaining cranes scheduled for delivery include a 90 tonne LTM 1090-4.1, a 120 tonne LTM 1120-4.1 and a 500 tonne LTM 1500-8.1. The company has also ordered a second hand eight tonne MK 140 mobile tower crane.
