G A Smith Ltd have strengthened their relationship with Bell, following the purchase of three B30E articulated dumptrucks that brings the total number of Bell machines in the company’s fleet to 10, representing one-third of its fleet.

The company’s first order with Bell consisted of four customized B40Ds machines, fitted with ‘specialist coal extensions’, which have helped the ADTs to operate extensively in demanding environments as well as serving G A Smith well for contract and hire work.

Having brought the first three B30Es in 2014, G A Smith decided to repeat another order for this year and they now have a total of six B30E machines, plus the four bespoke mining-spec articulated dumptrucks.
