JCB has launched its most powerful backhoe loader ever, the range-topping 5CX, designed with the demands of the Middle East market in mind.

Unveiled at the Conexpo show in Moscow, the all-wheel steer 5CX features a Tier 2 JCB Dieselmax engine developing 88kW, a 1.3m³ shovel as standard, and Servo controls as standard with variable flow hydraulics giving fuel savings of up to 10%.

The machine has been developed for markets – including Russia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East - where digging and loading performance requirements are high, said Tim Burnhope, JCB’s chief innovation and growth officer.
