A model well suited for digging and loading in quarries, gravel pits, surface coal mines and other high-production applications. Powered by a Cummins QSG12 engine, producing 331 net hp (247 kW), and equipped with a standard 6.3 yd3 (4.8 m3) bucket, the HL975 has a standard operating weight of 58,420 lb (26,500 kg) and a rated tipping load of 44,090 lb (20,000 kg).

The L918F features:

• A Deutz Tier 4 Final engine (no DPF filter);
• Dry disc brakes;
• Two-speed countershaft transmission;
• A 1.0 yd³ SSL bucket capacity w/ in-cab coupler pin control. Optional 1.3 yd³ ISO/GP bucket capacity will also be offered;
• An operating weight of 14,990 lbs.;
• A rated load limit of 2,200 lbs.;
• A maximum breakout force of 112,240 lbs.-ft. with a standard boom;
• A compact body that is only 9 ft. 7 in. tall and 6 ft. 8 in. wide.
